Very nice house to view. It is historic, the tour guides are very knowledgeable on the history of the house and on the history of the area.

We toured the main house, Jackie a local of 17 years, was excellent. We didn't clip a coupon from any of the many attractions books or do the wine festival to get a discounted ticket but, we got our moneys worth anyway.

This is the best attraction in Corolla! The house is beautifully restored and the tour is great. The grounds are great for your kids to run around and the tour keeps you interested with causing boredom. Might be tough on those who have problems climbing stairs but for restored house enthusiasts this is a must see.

This place has an amazing past. Home built in the 1920's when Corolla was only accessible by driving on the beach. Paved road completed in 1984. Many owners but was purchased and restored by the Currituck County Historical society in the early 1990's. If you love old houses with lots of history, this is well worth the visit.

Very beautiful grounds with a lighthouse to tour @
a museum in the basement of the historic castle. The rooms & stories about them are so interesting . Very popular sight for weddings & picnics . Take the entire family!
