I have been coming to the OBX for the last 10 years and had yet to see the wild horses so this past October was the time to do it. Five of us went out with our most awesome guide Dave! Dave made the tour excellent, with his knowledge of the horses and the area, his friendly personality and his willingness to answer all our questions, and we had a ton of them! Highly recommend this adventure to all - ask for Dave for your tour guide, you will not be disappointed!

We have been visiting the OBX annually for several years now. And this is a something we do EVERY visit. These guys are the best at what they do. They are professional and have great respect for the horses and their enviorment. The drivers (Thanks Again for a great trip again this year, Wylie) are phenominal and make the effort to help yo u see as many horses as possible and help you get the best photos that you possibly can. They are very informative and courteous. See you again next year.

This was the highlight of our OBX trip. We booked a guided tour and had the open-top jeep. It was a little chilly, but not bad for mid-November. Adam was our guide and he was wonderful. While driving on the beach (which is totally cool), Adam pointed out several pods of dolphins for us. After leaving the beach and riding around these houses (how he knows where he's going I have no clue), we found horses within 15 minutes. Adam was really informed about their locations because he kept saying things like "this is where they were yesterday" and "I know they like to hang out here." We went to 3-4 different locations and saw horses in each spot. In addition, he was very informed about the OBX in general and damage done by Hurricane Sandy. Great job and would definitely take this tour again.

My sister and I recently booked a 3pm tour with Gary. We traveled in an open top safari type 4 row jeep. We met
At the shop in corolla and traveled with him and around 8 other people. We drove onto the beach Only accessible by 4 wheel drive, driving along the beach was beautiful. He was very informative of the beach, wildlife, and locals. We searched for the wild horses over the sand dunes for about 20 minutes before we found them. They were beautiful n every way I imagined. The ride back was very cold so beware if you book later in the day. Beautiful sunset though

We had a fantastic time with Andrew our guide. Riding around the in a big ol' hummer all over the beach was an absolute blast!!! Andrew knew what he was doing as we explored remote developments looking for horses.. And did we find them!!! Along with a fox and some kind of exotic bird!

Anyway, the costs is a little steep, but with a coupon, it becomes reasonable. A tip. Be prepared to spend at least 2 hrs running around. Potty breaks before you are recommended. Plus bring your camera!!!
