“Delicious Cinnamon Rolls”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 20, 2014

Went for breakfast and the cinnamon rolls are not to be missed. They have an awesome cream cheese filling/topping, rather than being drowned in glaze. I also had the cranberry walnut french toast which came with a huge bowl of fresh grapes. The french toast was very good, made with home made bread.

The owner is delightful, helpful without being intrusive. The only complaint is that the coffee is weak. We will definitely go again.

“The best”

We are here for St Paddy 's day dinner. Better than you could cook at home. John & Megan are the best. After 5 years still our favorite. Blecky

“Fills a Need in the Area”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2014

Not too many places to have a late breakfast in this area.
Their breakfast menu is good with some different items from the usual. The cinnamon rolls are sinfully delicious.
We also ate lunch here last year and the sandwich selections should please anyone. And so big that there's enough left for another meal.
We'd like to try it for dinner but have not yet.
The friendliness of the wait staff is a big plus here.
Don't know why but this place is just a little bit "different"( in a good way) from the other breakfast and sandwich places in town. They seem to have a lot of locals eating here including some interesting -but not bothersome-"characters".
It's fun.

“Best in the area!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 2, 2014

My husband and I have been coming to Medina's since October of 2013. We vacation in Lake Lure and have found this is the best place to eat in all of Chimney Rock/Lake Lure/Bat Cave area. The staff is always extremely friendly and has advised us of things to do in the area. We enjoy the Buffalo ranch dip, clam chowder (the absolute best), red pepper and Gouda cheese soup, Cuban, Italian beef sandwich, chicken salad, cinnamon rolls and of course apple pie! Take a minute to stop in and see this quaint, friendly diner with delicious food!

“Great dinner”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2014

The dinner options are a little limited, but there is still something for everyone and there are also sandwich and salad choices. This is a small restaurant, so go a little early or make reservations. The service is very friendly and accommodating. The portions are huge, so if you aren't hungry plan on splitting a meal or having delicious leftovers.
