Today we had lunch at Medina's Village Bistro and chose a table outside on a beautiful Fall day. It offered a wonderful view of Chimney Rock and the traffic was minimal on this Wednesday making for a very enjoyable atmosphere. We both had the incredible Red Pepper w/Gouda soup. It was very similar to a rich tomato bisque and just delicious. For sandwiches we had the Toasted Cuban and the Philadelphia Hoagie. Both were stuffed with delicious meats and were top quality. Not the least bit skimpy. The prices are very fair for such good food. The service was excellent and not one complaint from us other than a rocking table which I easily fixed with a heavily folded paper towel under one of the legs. We highly recommend! Plenty of parking in front and also right next door in the $1.00 all-day parking lot.
