“great fresh yummy food!”
Reviewed July 25, 2012

So glad we wandered into Medina's today! The food was great and the servers were so friendly and helpful. We got the Italian beef, prime rib and chicken salad sandwiches and they were all delicious with obviously fresh and well prepared ingredients. If you go, you MUST get the house special soup- roasted red pepper and smoked gouda bisque-it was wonderful! The restaurant has been written up in National Geographic and will soon be in Southern Living. We will be going back tomorrow-it's the best food we've had in Chimney Rock or Lake Lure.

“When you don't want "Country Kitchen"”
Reviewed July 24, 2012

I get sick of the whole biscuits and gravy country kitchen schtick in this part of the country, so this was refreshing for us. Simply good food and good service (we went twice in a two day trip). They do have biscuits, but the cinnamon buns are what you must have.

“Like everyone says: Great Cinnamon Rolls!”
Reviewed July 18, 2012

Italian beef sandwich was one of the best I have ever had. My husband ordered the pastrami reuben. He said it was really good. The next morning, I was treated to cinnamon rolls by my husband. I will have to say that they are the best I have ever had. They are a little different than the traditional cinnamon roll. The crust is light and flaky and the cinnamon frosting is different too. However, they are the best!
