We went for a late lunch on a Friday, so the crowd was slow. We got a local recommendation, so decided to try it. In our party of 3, one ordered an omelet, one a meatloaf sandwich, and one a ham & cheese sandwich. All of the items were very good. The meatloaf sandwich was huge, having about an inch thick slab of meatloaf with lettuce, tomato & condiments. After a disappointing breakfast, the omelet was a hit with that one. Sweet potato fries are on the menu, sprinkled with brown sugar. We couldn't hold any dessert, but the bakery can be seen from the sidewalk and the selections are tempting. The interior is freshly refurbished and seating is upstairs. There is space for live music on certain evenings. Outdoor balcony seating overlooks the street.
