The food was great. Visited about 5 times while in Cherokee and ordered different things from the menu. Everything I ordered was fantastic and cooked perfectly.

“Best in town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2011

My husband and I visit Cherokee a couple times a year to escape the heat. We always eat at Peter's. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly, service is almost always very fast unless there's a major crowd, then it's still pretty quick. Going again tomorrow, can't wait!

“Yummy!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2011

My family and I were very excited to visit Peter's since we saw nothing but wonderful reviews. I ordered blueberry pancakes, diced potatoes, ham, and scrambled eggs. I LOVED the pancakes, they were so delicious! I also loved the diced potatoes, you could tell they were homemade and not frozen. The eggs were yummy too, just your ordinary typical scrambled eggs. The only problem I had was with the ham, it was pretty dry. It still had a great taste to it, but it definitely needed something added to it to make it less dry. There was a wait, about 15-20 minutes, which was definitely expected, but well worth the wait! The service was okay, the lady was nice, just very busy.

“JUST OK NOTHING OUT of THE ORDINARY”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 16, 2011

Was passing through town, and read the reviews so we decided to stop for Breakfast. 25 minute wait to eat, so we walked by the river out back. It was just OK, nothing special, standard eggs, pancakes, coffee. Food was served hot, place was clean. Slow on the coffee refill. Great place for people watching. Not terribly impressed.

“Tasty Breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 1, 2011

After reading the reviews we decided it would be Peter's or Granny's. After driving to take a look at Granny's we made a bee line back to Peter's and are so glad we did. First of all it is very welcoming yellow building we you first come into the main town area. It is one of those old timey places were you seat yourself and read your menu which also serves as your placemat....how kitschy! The first thing I noticed were the ample choices and great prices. We decided on a waffle, hiker pancakes (yummo!!) and an egg breakfast. All were tasty and well enjoyed. Next time in Cherokee we will be back!
