This is an older motel, but it has been well-maintained. Front desk personnel were friendly and very nice. All rooms have outside entrances, which we liked. Our room, on the first floor, was very clean. We used the in-room refrigerator and coffeemaker. The TV was an older one (like a couple we have at home), but it had all the channels we wanted to watch. The complimentary breakfast included cereals, bagels and pastries, which suited us just fine.
Our only problem was with the smoke detector in the room. About 3am, it began to "beep" every minute or so, indicating to me that it probably needed a new battery. I called the front desk and within a minute someone was there to replace it. He mentioned that there had been previous problems with this particular detector. About an hour later, it beeped again, but only once! When I mentioned this to the front desk at breakfast, a note was made to replace it. Whether or not this has happened, I don't know, but this incident would not prevent us from staying here again.
