Building is not much to look but the food is amazing and the staff is very friendly. Each person in our group had something different and everyone loved their food.

We passed several BBQ places before we made a u-turn for Country Boy BBQ. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by one of the owners. Don't expect lavish tables and decor...it is a BBQ joint. They cook their BBQ with wood and not gas. The BBQ sauce is on the table, so you can choose your own style sauce. I went for the vinegar sauce. The owner came over not only to ask how our food was, but to ask where we were from and also gave us a little info on how they started the business. Like I said, be hungry when you go, its a huge portion of BBQ. I will say, not much on vegetable selections, but if vegetables are what you want, go to Cracker Barrel. I will definitely go back next time we make it up this way.

We had read the reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to try it. We got 2 pulled pork platters and the food was very good. The portions were good and the prices were reasonable. Staff was very friendly. We will eat here again, when we return to Cherokee.

Food is OK but not worth the price. Two platters and two waters ($1.00 each) added up to $27.93. In this part of the country, it's nothing short of stunning and there is far better and cheaper BBQ almost anywhere in NC. In my entire life, I have never been charged for water anywhere in the US. If the food doesn't give you indigestion, getting over charged will.

We were vacationing in Cherokee & someone had recommended this restaurant to us. We decided to give it a try & are we ever glad we did. This was the truly the best barbeque we have ever had. We ordered the beef brisket, ribs, & pulled pork, along with baked beans, and hush puppies. What a meal. Everything was so delicious!! The portions were very large & the prices were so reasonable. The owner was so friendly & we enjoyed our meal thoroughly. If you are ever in Cherokee, give this place a try. You will be glad you did!
