We just returned from a stay at the Best Western and I was pleasantly surprised. The motel is off the main drag in a quieter section of town, far away from the shops that line the road in Cherokee.
We arrived at noon and stopped to request a lower room, even though I know that check in was after 2:00. The girl at the front desk quickly changed out room number and told us we could go to our room.
The room was spotless, having just been cleaned. And added plus was it was located in the back of the motel with almost no traffic.
Everything worked in the room. No need to call the front desk for anything, except for a local phone # for pizza delivery.
The price was fair for this time of the year, being $10-20 cheaper than the motels on "the strip".
We didn't sample the motel's dining room, but Sunday morning had a breakfast buffet and was very busy. The dining room looked charming.
We will stay there again when we return to Cherokee.

Our stay in this Best Western was really below average. While the main sign on the street advertised "High Speed Internet", later in the evening we found that our room had neither wired nor wireless access. When I called the desk, the clerk told me that some rooms in some buildings had it, but ours did not. I would have had to ask about it upon check in. Who would know? I'm a Gold Crown member with Best Western and I would think that they would at least ask Gold Crown members opon check in if they needed the Internet. They did offer to move us to another room as there were only about 30 guests in this large (3 or 4 buildings) property. We should have done it! Our room heater cycled between heat and air conditioning...it did not go to "fan" but directly to A/C from heat. Therefore, we had to turn the heater on full, then turn the unit completely off so that we would not freeze. Also, there was so much cold air coming in around the frame of the door that we had to wedge three towels into all of the door edges to stop the frigid blast. The restaurant was closed for the season (as was much of the town), but a breakfast was offered. Unfortunately, it was just OK. We completed a hotel comment card stating the above problems. There is a Baymont across the street which would probably would have been a better choice.

We stayed here in early July. They didn't take our discount hotel travel coupons at face value (then again no one else did either). The room was acceptable and there's an onsite laundry.

The next day we had had breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The buffet breakfast was excellent and our waitress "Sunshine" was friendly.

Not a bad place to stay especially if you are looking for a hotel with a restaurant in Cherokee.
