Looking to escape from Cherokee casino? Go here. Great food, great service and you can actually breathe without inhailing smoke.

“Great Food!”
Reviewed November 4, 2012

The newest addition at Harrah's Cherokee Casino is one of the best restaurants I have ever dined. Appetizers were hot with parmesan cheese toast points and the steak was cooked perfectly, and the service was very good and not hovering. Will eat there next trip.

“horrible service, overpriced, avoid like the plague”
Reviewed November 2, 2012

Asked for restaurant recommendations at our hotel and they directed us to Brio in Harrah's casino. They clearly had tables available, but made us wait 30 minutes. Was another 10 minutes before we even got water, and the waitress screwed that up too (husband got sprite). We were done with our salads at least 15 minutes before our entrees arrived, then had to wait 10 minutes at the end for the waitress to take our credit card to pay. They have a ton of service staff, so there was no excuse for how long everything took. The food was fine, but no better than an Olive Garden, though we were charged much more than Olive Garden prices. Overall, we'd have been better off going to Wendy's down the street, as this was a waste of money and 2.5 hours. Also, Harrah's hasn't figured out how to have smoke-free areas, so just walking from the hotel into the 2nd floor of the casino (above the gambling level) to get to the restaurant we could barely breathe for all the smoke in the air.

“Outstanding!”

There are very far and in between excellant italian restaurants.
Brio is by far the best you will get in the mountains. Prepared
to suit your taste buds. Price is reasonable and the atmosphere is wonderful.

“Take the lunch menu”
Reviewed October 27, 2012

After being in the casino for several hours, I visit BRIO just before the lunch period ends. I always place a "to go" order and return to my hotel room to eat. Each time, I order SAUSAGE PEPERONATA POMODORO (spaghetti) for $9.95 from the lunch menu vs $13.95 dinner menu. I also get a BISTECCA INSALATA (a salad) $3.95 with an entree. Believe me, you get more than you can eat at one sitting. I did "dine-in" once with a friend, before lunch was over. Had CHICKEN LIMONE $11.45 vs $19.65 dinner price. This dish is to die for. Again, serving portions at lunch are very large, and had to request a take-out box. Had dinner for the next night. Can't beat that savings, after having spent most of your money at the casino. < A bummer!
