Management needs to work on communication with workers when problem arrises... OUTDOOR POOL TORE UP & didn't tell us... Fail to tell us at time of check in... we are staying 12 nights..... Didn't give us a discount on it didn't offer chairs to sit in the sun... If they would have told us this at time of check in, before I paid $535.00 I would have went somewhere else...

We're spending a week here with our son, his wife and our three grand kids. The KoA is sourounded with hills and streams. Our son and the other kids have moved a ton of rocks to build a dam. The pool is large and indoors. The outside pool is expected to be rehabbed in time for the 4th of July. Yesterday the KoA shuttled our crew to horseback riding, and today we are off to Dollywood. Our cabin is deluxe and stream side. Their cabin is close to the bath house and playground. There is so much to like here. My only dissatisfaction is their free wifi. The signal is so week that I have to walk to the office to use it. It is so slow that questionnaires can't load. While no one would choose a KoA solely on the quality of their wifi, I find the inadequate service a daily, though minor, dissatisfied.

We just left today. We got there and our prebooked deluxe cottage with queen bed, two bunk beds and pull out couch bed didn't exist. We had to down size. The staff was very friendly and eager. You could sense that they were obviously mostly new and didn't know a lot yet. Pool and some of the amenities are a bit run down. Putt Putt was not good at all. Outdoor pool under construction. Great kennel and dog park. Trout fishing not too good. Had to go outside the park to catch some fish. Tubing was fun but you kinda get dropped off and given a "good luck" as the driver pulls away. I'd stay again because it was so relaxing but it would have been nice, considering the price, to have everything updated.

Room Tip: On the river is not really any better than off the water. Fishing has to be paid for by the day. Tow...

This was our second stay here and we love it.

There were TONS of employees cleaning the entire time we were there. It was really busy over the Memorial Day weekend and they were clearly staffed appropriately. Check in was very fast.

We enjoyed delicious unlimited pancakes or biscuits & gravy on the weekend. The fresh trouts was amazing and would have been something we would order every day if it were available.

The indoor pool was packed and the outdoor pool was under construction so our daughter & her friends decided to go tubing. A credit card is required for damaged tubes but nothing was said about us being charges for tubes that were swept away. Unfortunately, we were billed $40 because our daughter's friends were knocked off their tubes. Had we known this potential expense in advance, I am not sure that we would have allowed them to tube. This should be posted clearly. When my husband pointed that out to Mark, the General Manager, he was not assured that this would be communicated to others in the future.

Overall, a great experience and a place we will return to.

We stayed May10-12 and had a great time. The staff was wonderful and helpful. I noticed a few bees around the cabin and I casually mentioned it at the camp store. Before I could get back to the cabin my husband said the "wasp patrol" arrived and took care of any bee problem. Yes it rained off and on but I really don't expect the staff to control the weather lol. We stayed in a cabin in the center of the koa and it was very nice, very clean and comfortable. And on a side note the camp store staff were very nice, helpful and professional.

We stayed during Mother's Day weekend which is also their camp care weekend. They had lots of planned activities for the kids. The bathhouse was very clean and always stocked. Everyone there was curtious and profressional. All the roadways were paved. We stayed in a small 1 room cabin and it was clean and looked exactly as the website said.

the campground is nice -however make sure you do not get a site that is next to the stocked river (left side of the park). Due to the river being stocked there are people fishing everywhere in this one area right beside KOA. Some of the sites back up to a chain link fence w/ people fishing on the other side of the fence!!! I would not be happy having people right in the back of my camper from sun up to sun down! I feel that those sites should be cheaper - no privacy what so ever!
