Finally, a joint in Cherokee, NC that emplyed folks with people skills. It remains the only dining establishment we have visited in Cherokee where the staff smiled. And the food, surprisingly good! The place is immense as well - we arrived at 630PM with the casino packed with some contest and were seated immediately. You have multiple options - salad, Mexican, asian, Italian, and comfort (southern). Only the Asian station disappointed (the Korean selections in particular were quite poor). The comfort food station with a couple kinds of potatoes, mac and cheese, greens, pulled pork, etc - really excellent. And again, its worth the trip if only to see someone smiling in the town. Without a comp or coupon it is pricey though - so go hungry to get your value.

I compare this Casino buffet to many I have been to in Las Vegas and I was impressed with the quality of everything (from the salads, meats, sides & desserts). It is not five star cuisine by any means, but it's well done for this kind of restaurant. I'd definitely do it again, though you always have to be careful not to overeat when there is such a selection.

I've been to buffets with a larger seafood selection, but not better quality. There has been a definite upgrade from three years ago. I was surprised at the quality of the Bar-B-Que offerings. Baby back ribs were really meaty and the baked beans were replete with bacon & flavor.
The dessert section had many choices including a fine sugar free chocolate cake.
The pecan pie was a little short on actual pecans though.
All in all a very good meal for a reasonable price.

Visited on a busy Thursday night for the dinner buffet. Pricing is a bit high, but not outrageous. The variety on the buffet was staggering!.....the BBQ(aka home cooking) was great. The only food that wasn't acceptable was the ridiculously dry pizza .....would go back again

As always, they have everything one could imagine on this giant buffet! It all looks sooo good too. We ate at the buffet 3 out of 4 nights on our last trip. The boys ended up with tummy aches, but I'm pretty sure it's cause they ate their weight in meat.
