We spent several hours and loved every minute of it. My husband has Cherokee is his family blood line and he felt like he was with family there. Everybody was so nice and we both learned so much about the Cherokee that we didn't know before. I highly recommend this attraction to anyone who has interest in the Cherokee history. We will definately come back again and again every time we are in the area. Lovely people!!!

This attraction far exceeded our expectations. We thought the adult rate of $19/person was a little pricey, but found it to be well worth it. After purchasing out tickets, we were given a tour of the Village. If I recall, tours begin every 15 minutes. The guided tour stopped at various Cherokee Indian live demonstrations (beaded sashes, basket weaving, pottery making, arrow making, canoe making, etc.). After the guided tour, there was some Indian dancing with audience participation (only if you want to participate). Also, after the guided tour, there is a self guided tour. The location of the Village is beautiful with lots of trees and mountain air. This attraction is very historical and highly recommended.

Educational. Difinately worth seeing. Everyone needs to see for the educational history it provides and the lessons to be learned. A culture and tradition worth preserving and appreciating. For everything it has to teach and offer.

If you want to get a quick lesson in Cherokee, history, culture, and lifestyle, this is a good stop. The guides just touched the above subjects but were very open to questions of more detail.

Great to walk through the village and hear the various guides tell about the lifestyles and skills of their people. We liked being able to visit with them and ask questions. The Native dances were very enjoyable, as was the large garden area back of the village.
