All of us enjoyed the village including our 11 year old daughter and 12 year old son. At 3:00, they performed several dances which were very interesting. I recommend this attraction.

What a great way to see and hear the story of Cherokee History. Every one of the presentations of daily activities was interesting and informative. The people were warm, friendly and answered many questions. If you happen to leave a camera bag like I did, they will have it at the exit for you.

Lots of history here. Glad it is being preserved. Hope they don't get too commercial. Enjoyed seeing the true Indians interacting with the visitors. Amazing that their use of the English Language was better than the locals.

I took my 6th grade language and culture class to visit the village and experience the Cherokee people's culture. This was a perfect experience to, not only see the hands on daily activities, but also to experience the sounds, smells and sights of what a Cherokee Indian village was like many generations ago. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We saw a stick ball game which my class of athletes enjoyed immensely. The location is peaceful and welcoming and it was easy to immerse oneself into the feeling of what it would be like to live in and with nature.
My only complaint is that, due to our on time restrictions, we didn't have enough time to experience the dance. If it was as informative as the stick ball match, it would be well worth the time.
Thank you for a wonderful day!

We brought our special needs class from Franklin for a field trip and they loved it! Lot of friendly helpful people took extra time to explain the life of the Cherokee to the kids. What a lovely place too - a nice shady peaceful place to get away from it all on a hot day. Ask a LOT of questions and you'll get so much more out of it than the "hollywood" version. A wonderful experience.
