“Nice Irish Pub”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

They have a small but very good menu; brunch when we arrived. There are several appetizers and we found the dips with seasoned pita to be very tasty and lots of it. Draft and bottled beers, some on special with good variety. We also had excellent fish and chips and house made potato chips, both excellent. There seemed to be many locals that Sunday evening. The place was busy but Amanda at the bar kept up with things. Good food and service and nice prices.

“Okay Place, Local crowd”
Reviewed May 13, 2013

Gets busy late and very busy when they have live bands. Decent bar with many chices. Food is average to very good, just depends on what you like. Not a very big menu rather small.

“Nice neighborhood hangout!”
Reviewed March 20, 2013

Been here just two or three times in the decade or so I have dwelled hereabouts.

Once was for a networking group meeting and they catered to all our needs very well. The location is a little hard to get to when coming out of town, but that's what stoplights and turn-signals are for you Uptown buffoons! It's not THAT hard!

Tyber Creek Pub has nice atmosphere. For a special mood and ambiente go upstairs for the more private clubby feel.

I seem to recall there was even a fireplace, but not sure if fire regualtions/code allows this nowadays that everybody gets their knickers in a bunch over the mere hint of a mention of an open flame in the vicinit of flammable spirirts.. Ha!

The outside part is very nice in the summer, and even when the season draws to a close, the outdoor heaters make it possible to enjoy al fresco beer consumption late into the fall. Recently even on a winter's day when the temps crept up the 70's....

This almost gets my 5 dot rating, but I think leaving just a little room for improvement for them to tighten up the service a little (no fault of the waitstaff, really, more so due to the rather rambling nature of the building.....

Cheers, everyone. Last call! :-)

“Good Experience”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

I ate out with friends recently at the Tyber Creek Pub. The restaurant has a certain charm and character. Upon entering, the nightly food specials are posted and that night fried chicken with 2 side items for only $10. That is a really good price, especially for dinner. Two of us ordered the special and the other person got fish and chips and was a reasonable price. The waitress was very attentive and exlained both the drink specials and food specials. The menu has a nice variety from appetizers to salads to soups to sandwiches/wraps and Irish entrees. The restaurant has 2 floors of dining and we sat upstairs in a booth. There are flat screen tv's and that night, we got to view the NFL Playoffs. For those who like outdoor dining, there is a nice patio area as an option. This restaurant is definitely worth re-visiting and perhaps during warm weather to enjoy sitting outside at the spacious patio area.

“Excellent food, staff and atmosphere!”
Reviewed May 20, 2012

We visited Tyber Creek in March 2012 while visiting family and friends. We popped in a couple of times and haven't a bad word to say about Tyber! Every time we visited, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and always had a smile on their face?

There is a good selection of beers and the local beer, of which the name escapes me, was very nice, definitely recommend trying a few here. We also ate here and would thoroughly recommend it. The food was tasty, hot and very well presented. Try the chilli cheese frys, and the chicken wings (so wish I lived closer).

Will definitely be going here on our next trip to Charlotte!
