We met friends for dinner on a Friday night at Cantina 1511. The restaurant was busy, but we ended up only having to wait for 15-20 minutes. While we waited we grabbed drinks and chips and salsa at the bar. When we were seated our server was excellent - She gave us plenty of time to order and enjoy our appetizer before ordering dinner. We ordered the small guacamole, which they make table side. The 3 tacos and the mexican bbq platters were amazing. More than enough food to enjoy and then share a bit. The regular Casa Cantina ($7) margarita is outstanding and our friends ordered the blood orange ($11) margarita, which was yummy as well. I like my margaritas a bit tart so the blood orange is too sweet for me. If you want to try a few they also offer a flight of three margaritas for $15, which is the house, the blood orange and then another premium margarita. Overall we love Cantina 1511 and will always make our way over when we're in the mood for Spanish style cuisine.
