Want to ZIP-LINE again and again. Just get off at the end, walk back to the tower and zip again. The ROPES course goes on and on, there are so many parts to it. No need to bring a hat, they're going to helmet you. It's SAFE, we're 66 and 70 and we had a ball.

The white water center is a very cool place to go anytime of day! Just don't go during a holiday or you will be stuck in traffic for a while! There is a little bit there for everyone. They have good fried pickles, and you can grab a cold beer of your choice. Besides all the wonderful activities they have it is fun to get a group of people and just make a day of hanging out in the sun! It is only a 5.00 dollar charge to park so don't be surprised.

This place was a ball for our family group. We firt did the white water rafting with a very entertaining guide. You will get wet, and paddle, but you don't need to be especially fit as it isn't an endurance course. Then the zip line. It was good, but basically 1 incredibly long ride as opposed to a course in the trees you would find in Costa Rica or Alaska. There is also a controlled drop at the same tower but the Saturday afternoon line was longer than we wanted to wait. There are also bike rentals to follow mountain back trails.

The adult children had just moved to Charlotte, and enjoyed the experiences so much that I paid to upgrade their daily admission into season passes. They've been back repeatedly themselves and with guests.

I was sufficiently surprised by the food and craft beer selection here to write a review. Visiting on 2 days in April, I found a wide variety of 20 beers on tap. The least exotic of these was Magic Hat #9. These also included Anderson Valley Bourbon Barrel Stout, Great Divide Colette, two New Belgium Lips of Faith, two Allagash, and several locals. They do have about 40 more beers in cans and bottles, including a bunch of the usual macro brews, but these also included Stone Ruination, two from Rogue, three from Dogfish, Chimay Red and a Delirium. Small bar, limited indoor seating at tables, and at least three patio areas -- all overlook the whitewater runs and serve as an excellent place to watch the sunset. Food, including chili and salads, was excellent.

Awesome facilities, with numerous possibilities for recreational activities involving whitewater, but also including zip lines, ropes courses, and other activities. Heavy emphasis on instruction.
No entrance fee but $5 parking fee.
