I was looking for something different to do with my college-age child who is in school in Charlotte - and this was a great idea (thanks to reviews on tripadvisor, I tried it). We don't kayak/whitewater raft (yet!), but went on the 3 hour "canopy" tour, which mainly featured ziplines ... for the 1st half! Then we got to the part that had signs about a "Challenge" course (sounds very different from a Canopy Tour, no?). I had been forewarned about the rope bridges - but there were many and they were daunting - but doable. Peer pressure (child pressure - I couldn't really crawl away) is a great motivator! It was really, really fun. We went for the earliest tour and, while there can be up to 8-10 people, we just had 4 (and the 2 guides), which was part of the reason for picking the earliest (10 a.m.) time. Afterward, we saw the zillions of activities that the place has to offer and will definitely go there again.
