Went this summer when the wife was out of town...the rafting was wonderful. The canopy tour was a bit of a let down but was great for the kids.

Great Place to Go, just don't bring any food. There are some arcane rules about that even if the restaurant is closed.
Also, check first to make sure rafting is running and the restaurants are open.
Would definitely do it again!

Visited on a beautiful day after Thanksgiving - and that was problematic, as many others were visiting as well. Oddly enough, the center seemed unprepared for the crowds. Lines for various activities went from not-so-great to horrible (more than an hour for popular activities), the food vendors (eat in and take out as well) ran out of food and had long waits as well, and in general things seemed understaffed.

The layout of the place is extremely appealing, and I would love to visit on a weekend when school is in session, as I bet the availability of activities is far better then. One could spend hours trying out the different options. For a seemingly world class attraction, the inability to handle holiday crowds was an unhappy surprise.

Check it out. It's surprisingly cool. Food was also a surprise, so don't hesitate to eat there.

I consider myself truly fortunate to live just 25 minutes from the whitewater center. This is a magnificent place and they continue to improve it. I mostly go there to use the mountain bike trails which are some of the regions finest and host the Xterrra whitewater now heading into its 3rd year. The trails are challenging and fair and as of 2 years ago there is also a 3 mile beginner trail. Overall 13 miles of trails. In addition to the trails there is the whitewater, eco canopy treks, zip lines, climbing wall and hiking. Visit the website it is quite good and also has trail status. Great place I just cannot say enough about it.
