Good food and service was descent. The bartender needs some help for the Monday night football crowd.

Our last visit was in December of 2011 and the menu has expanded somewhat since that dinner and is now more friendly to younger customers and the casual diner. We found the restaurant because we were staying in a nearby hotel and were looking for more than fast food for dinner. The steaks are very good and come just as we order - medium means medium, not medium well or mediium rare, for example. This might seem trivial, but we've found that this is not always the case even at higher end restaurants. The only side included with the steaks is potato so the bill can go up quickly if you want salad and vegetables, both of which are very nice. Bread also comes with dinner and is a unique presentation of sourdow with a garlic-olive oil drip. The bar drinks are of good quality and the wine list is adequate. The service has always been very good. The atomopshere varies depending on where you are seated. The upper dining area is quite cozy and "refined" on the order of an old style steak house. The lower area is far more casual.

Im a Hotel Restuarant FAN! Ive always seen this Omaha Steak house and have been intrigued by its name alone.
A friend and I were accross the street from the restaurant on Sunday night and decided to swing in at 9pm.
We walked in and were greeted with a "Please wait to be seated" Sign at the door, but no one at the host stand. We peaked into the bar and decided to sit at the Bar, and GLAD we did. There were an ecclectic mix of stranded passengers, business men, and a a few locals (us). Craig, at the bar was our guide, once he affirmed that we had not been there before. Gave us some great suggestions and answered our questions. Bar was a bit drab in paint but the mural on the wall behind us made it feel a bit like a steakhouse should, old, boys club-ish. Lights were up a bit high and no music, but there was football playing, so that made sense.
Food was SOLID! Calamari was good, fried perfectly with Rings and Tentacles and had a delicious sweet chili glaze. Very nice. The wedge salad was good with big chucks of bleu cheese and great bacon! My steak, "The Cowboy" was cooked perfectly, so an IV and good Vet could bring it back (Rare) and my friends Pork Chop came with two VERY large, grilled Fuji Apple slices, was wonderful as well.
Overall we had a very nice time. We skipped dessert, since we didnt want to keep them as it was well after closing time. They did not rush us, we just wanted to be polite and may have consumed our dessert DURING the meal anyway (Wine).
We would definitely go back. Ambiance is nice, service was good and genuinely friendly, and food was solid!

Located in the Embassy Suites in Charlotte, the Omaha Steaks restaurant provides good comfort style food in a relaxed hotel environment.

I dined there three times during my week in Charlotte; mainly due to working long hours and not having many options. And while they're not going to blow Zagats out of the water any time soon, the food was all freshly prepared, decently seasoned (if a bit buttery in some cases) and the service is good.

Again, we're not talking about Morton's or Ruth's or any high end steak place, but definitely a step above your Outbacks & Longhorn's.

The staff was friendly and helpful for the most part. The bar area is busy with business travelers of course, ranging from lively tables to quiet.

Hey, if you're staying at the Embassy and you just need to get a decent bite to eat, it's worth it.

Good atmosphere. Good steak. I would go back if I were at this hotel. There were other guests there that were raving about what they had.
