Had the oxtail dish and it was just what the dr ordered. Meat fell off the bone, simmered in a stew-like thick broth. Just right on the saltiness too. Most of the sides were carbs so I skipped ordering them but the home made macaroni and cheese that ended up on the table next to me had that brown cooked cheesy crisp on it! Mmmmmm.
The Island Wings have Anntony's famous sauce on them (which is sold under the Anntony's label in stores) and they tasted like they were roasted. A little brown, but not fried and fall of the bones savory.
There are only three tables inside, a little row of bar stools at the counter... and no air conditioning for a true Caribbean feel. We ate outside under a nice little tent with tropical music on the radio in the background.
The warm sunshine added to the delicious lunch and atmosphere.
