A very good first dining experience! 300 East had been highly recommended to us by other friends & our Saturday lunch did not disappoint; it was wonderful!
I rarely eat 3 courses but the menu was so tempting I just had to! The food was deciduous! The service was attentive; And the bill including wine, beer & a spirit was a reasonable $67 dollars for the 2 of us.
It was a cold, wet & windy day that was just perfect for the Comfy Cosy feel this rejuvenated old home has to offer.
Perhaps a little intimate with the other dinners, I was glad the upstairs fire was not on as I was seated on its hearth, however it did not detract from the cosy atmosphere while getting to know our new friends.

We especially like the large modern glass windows mixed with the old cottage home style it is very nicely done & not over the top. Excellent!

Lots of parking, & two other good eateries close by is ' Copper' an indian restaurant directly opposite also well recommended & a Tia restaurant a few doors down.

We will definitely be coming back here again!!

My husband and I chose 300 East during restaurant week and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is a converted house in the Dilworth neighborhood of Charlotte. Great ambiance. Service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Loved the pork loin. Husband had the hanger steak and the sauce was amazing. Great meal, I'd definitely head back soon.

300 has a great atmosphere, whether you are upstairs or down. I am a green/eco enthusiast so the menu appeals to me through items like "grass fed burger" and "free range half-chicken," but whether you care for the environment or just your stomach the flavor would make other chefs GREEN with envy. (pun) OK, bottom line and all attempted puns aside, 300 is a unique, modern food culture stop when in the Dilworth area! Dont miss it!!!

Took the family here after seeing a show at the Levine Theatre (just a 5 min. drive with plenty of parking).. Even the kids were raving about their food. The atmosphere is unique and the service was attentive.

We enjoyed a nice dinner here with our kids on New Year's Eve. The special dishes were delicious, but the ambiance is a little lacking for a special dinner. The service was good. It is nice for a regular night out.
