It was really nice. Went for a performance that my grand-daughter was doing for the half show of the Harlem Globetrotter. Game.

Was here for a graduation. Great location to hotel. This place was huge. Half-full for the graduation. Must be awesome for a game!!!
We attended a concert here in April. When we arrived it was raining heavily (we were without umbrellas). We were deposited by our taxi about a block away due to restricted traffic lanes. Then we discovered that the checking of tickets (and "wanding" for contraban) took place outside in the pouring rain. The lines were incredibly long. We were thoroughly soaked when we finally passed inspection. Surely there is a better way to manage this! The concert was sold out so there was no place to put our wet coats during the concert except on the floor. Other venues seem to take the weather into consideration--but maybe this one just figures the ticket holders are stuck with whatever. We sure were, but we won't go to Charlotte for a concert again. Raleigh and Greensboro do a much better job.
Great venue overall
Close the buses and trains
Close to bars restaurants shopping
Easy in easy out
Okay pricing for this type of arena
Be glad when the Charlotte Hornets name is back instead of the bobcats
Don't shoot me but I'm a little bit more of a Miami Heat fan thanI a Charlotte bobcats and or the hornets if the namesake does come back... When LeBron James comes to town there is usually more of a crowd overall and a little bit noisier go figure...
I have attended many concerts at TWC Arena. From the first (Bon Jovi) to the most recent (Cher). Very accessible from I-77, I-85 and 277. Plenty of parking within walking distance of the arena. You pay by the hour, not a flat fee. (Was $10 Monday 5/5/14 for Cher concert) Check out the Epicenter for dinner or a drink before or after a show. Surrounding hotels are pricey but location is superb. Arena is nice and clean, lots of concessions to chose from. Staff is always nice and very helpful.
