“Great place for excellent beer”
Reviewed November 18, 2012

I like the big glass wall with the beer installation behind it. Some of the beers are excellent and the food is really god and novel, even if not in big quantities. If you are looking for good bee and quality food and leaving without feeling stuffed, this is it. Nice patio, also.

“Hottie Heist!”
Reviewed November 15, 2012

Wow what a find. This gem is located in the historic Highland Park Mill in Noda and I have to shout out a huge thanks to Kristi Martin of Feast Food Tours for recommending this fab place! We went with friends this week and tried a bunch of different things to share and every single thing we ate was terrific. My fave item was the Bama burger with parmesan rosemary tots (best ever!!!), Ponzu blackened wings = LOVE! Torched diablos = mmmmmmmm. Also had the Himalayan shrimp sticks! I'm a total wine gal but decided to go out on a limb and have a grown up bevvy and ordered a Pear martini on recommendation. This was heaven in a pretty glass! I don't really drink beer so I feel it is not my place to comment but some of my friends partook and they enjoyed what they had. The interior design is beautiful. And last but not least, the service was excellent - thank you Jacob!

“you have to read the menu to understand the food”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

You have to read the menu to understand how unique the food is here. The names in no way describe what you get and even the descriptions don't prepare you for the experience. This is true fusion food.

I loved the chicken waffles and the pipe smoked salmon (both were the chef's choice for me) and wonderful dishes just kept getting suggested to me by other customers. I didn't think i'd like the pork belly corn dogs (i don't eat deep fried things like that as a rule) but i enjoyed these. though if in a group i'd have only had one and something else. My thought on this was the others were so good lets try the one thing i wouldn't normally order. I would have liked to try everything on the menu.

The beers are good but there are better ones around town. So the food gets a 5 and the beers a 3.5 since they are better than the average beer but not the real reason to come here.

“Unique menu and good beer”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

The menu was more unique than typical bar food so would recommend going on-line and checking it out. Oven roasted beer cheeses was a great appetizer, followed by the flat bread pizza. I'm not a big fan of duck and it was emphasized with quite a few items on the menu. Beer was good but not spectacular but not poor either. It just opened so should get even better. Also, the interior was very cool looking. Good place!

“Good Food, Beer Could Be Better”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

The brewmaster burger is a top burger in Charlotte. Sadly, the beers are very bland and watered down. They had no bite. I hope this is just working out the kinks kind of situation.
