Lots of new rides, concerts and activities throughout the season which lasts from May through October. Lots of coupons, too, so find them and use them when you go.

It was great. I had a wonderful time there with my family. I had the opportunity to enjoy two parks in one. The water park and the amusement side

Since Cedar Fair bought the park its much better adding new rides and improving over all quality. Still pricey to park 10 dollars plus the cost of the ticket. Getting to be hard to take the family.

My family and i had a great family reunion gathering there. We also stayed at the carowinds Great Lodge nearby that took us by bus back and forth to the amusement park. We also received a discount for the park and rides b/c we stayed at the Carowinds Camp Wilderness Resort. We ahd a very good time.

We went on a Friday night when the weather was just right. It was our first Scarowinds experience and I didn't know what to expect. The lines were not bad although some rides had a wait time of about 30 minutes. The characters could sometimes catch you by surprise until you get used to them and be ready when the appear behind you. Good thing is they're not allowed to touch you but you are allowed to take pictures with them. The kids had so much fun that we decided we will be back next year and upgraded our tickets to season's pass which is a bargain.
