Even though BOA is now one of the older stadiums in the NFL, the Panther organization has not allowed it to become shabby. Each season I am pleased to see fresh paint, updated restroom fixtures, new food and beverage vendors, and other touches that let me know that the team values the fans. The stadium has always banned smoking except in designated areas and does not serve alcohol after the end of the third quarter. Our seats are in the top level, but even with my arthritic knees, the ramps to the top level are usually an easy walk. On those occasions when my knees have been uncooperative, and once when I had surgery on an ankle, there are elevators available. New security protocols this year mean no large purses or tote bags and most stadium cushions are no longer allowed, so be sure to check the team website for specifics before you go.

Easy to get to from "uptown" - not a bad walk.
A much better experience if you sit in the middle level with access to the inner spaces.
Nothing iconic other than the Carolina Panther statues.

It was was my first visit to Charlotte Bank Of America Stadium. So it was for my grandson who is 9 years old. we walked into stadium to watch last game before NFL season 2013 Kicks off.As budding fan of the game he was so excited to watch the game live The stadium capacity is 75,000 so not in league of stadiums which are over 100,000 seats but none the less it was good and well located in up town Charlotte NC.We had tickets for seats on 5th floor and it was an easy reach to the place though a long walk floor by floor. There was a gentle ramp to get to the floors. Entry to stadium was friendly as staff was all smiles. The vendors were nice on fifth floor and we had convenience of having pizza/chips all type of drinks incl beer. Game was between North Carolina Panthers and Pittsburgh Steelers. . Stadium facilities were nice. Half time show was presented by Chicago Boys. Our Seats were very comfortable with clear view of entire stadium w/o any obstruction. Overall we were happy to be there and have fun of the live game..

Well.... I guess things change as the world evolves. A few years ago it was a little easier to get through the check in, now it takes just about as long to check in as the game lasts. I understand that there is a need, and you can for sure feel the presence of added security and the restrictions of no this none of that leave it here or toss it in the trash over there. and if you did'nt make your car payment this month stay away, because a beverage and hot dog or pizza will set you back a full car payment. Captive audience rules i guess. Enjoy the game at least.
