My husband and I had always walked right by this place on our way to get Indian food--the name "Terrace Cafe" is really generic, and the place itself didn't look especially interesting. When we did finally eat lunch there with three other people, it was a nice surprise. The tomato-basil bisque was probably the best tomato soup I've ever had, and the turkey sandwich much more flavorful than turkey usually is. Everybody else liked their meals too. Also, the waiter was remarkably pleasant in a low-key way. This place deserves a lot of business.

Tried the Terrace Cafe for the first time and really enjoyed the eclectic menu. The Lobster BLT, Oyster Salad, Shrimp and Grits were hits with the family. While the staff was attentive, I would have appreciated them not sitting our party next to the kitchen. Otherwise, a very nice evening and I plan to go back to explore their breakfast menu down the road.

We stopped in here on a Saturday morning for breakfast. The food was great and so was the service. Coffee came in a BIG cup and they were ready with refills. Their breakfast menu is huge - I had the malted belgian waffle with fruit as a side, the other choices were hashbrowns or grits. My husband had the breakfast casserole with hashbrowns. Grandkids had the three animal pancakes from the Kids' menu. The portions were very generous and it was cooked perfectly. It was all very good and tasty. They had some really different choices on their menu - Banana Pecan French Toast and Red Velvet Waffle served with cream cheese drizzle. It wasn't real busy when we arrived but by the time we left the place was full. There is plenty of parking and other shops here. Would definitely recommend this place for families - I loved it!

Eating at the cafe even though we have lived in the general area for a few years. It's a little pricey for breakfast but once you start eating you quickly realize it's worth it.The food was terrific and add to that a wonderful waiter and you had a formula for a great eating experience. It does have outside seating but looks out onto a parking lot.so don't expect a view.Over all we highly recommend this establishment. We intent on going back for dinner. For breakfast try and avoid Sunday around noon....very crowded.
