Enjoyed being uptown and connected to a parking deck! I decided to stay the night last minute and it was a great choice. Staff was friendly and room was spacious and cozy! I would definitely stay again

Our room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds, even though we could have used a few more pillows.
Great decor in the reception area with lots of comfy chairs to lounge on. I especially enjoyed the free lemonade and cookies set out for guests.
The staff, from the front desk attendants to the valet service, were very friendly, helpful and efficient.
Best of all is the location of this hotel. Within walking distance to all major sights and restaurants in downtown Charlotte.

This is a very conveniently located hotel in Charlotte -- right across the street is the NASCAR Hall of Fame; it is only two and half blocks from Spectrum Center where the Hornets play; and many many terrific restaurants are within walking distance -- as is the First Baptist Church for Sunday morning service is you are interested.
All of the hotels in the city are a bit pricey -- this was the average price -- but the bed was very comfortable, the pillows were good (I'm picky about my pillows) and the room was very quiet. We were on the 7th floor and the elevators worked well -- no waiting. We were in Charlotte for a graduation, and other family members stayed elsewhere, and were not so happy with their room. The only minus is that we had to pay extra for parking, but again, all the uptown hotels are the same. $15 per night if you self-park; $20 per night for valet parking + tips and the inconvenience of not knowing where your car is if you forgot something in it...Service was very efficient and friendly; we would stay here again.

We truly enjoyed our stay in Charlotte . The hotel was convenient to the NASCAR Hall Of Fame as well walking distance to the downtown area. The area surrounding the hotel was clean. I would definitely choose this hotel and area the next time I visit Charlotte.

I booked the room at a discount via Priceline with a lower expectations but my gamble was rewarded with a pleasant surprise. The room was well-appointed and everything was new and modern. The hotel is located on the periphery of the uptown and you have access to all the fun of Uptown. The staff was friendly and business-like. The gave me a room on the upper floor as I requested. We were staying uptown to go out and party but the bed was so comfortable we decided to stay in for the night. We had a restful night sleep. By the way the city view was nice. There is easy access from the highway. Overall I will give them high marks and I will definitely stay here again if the price is right.
Room tip: Higher floors are quiet

I have stayed here several times, and the Hampton Inn next door. Excellent experience each time. I like the shuttle service to anywhere downtown. I like to walk, but I like the option when pressed for time.
