stay at new Embassy suites which is accross the street but owned by same company. Great location just accross street from NASCAR Hall Of Fame which is nice. Breakfast is good but cost $12.99 each. Parking here is $15 a day if you stay here.

Our SELF parking is $15/day with in/out privileges and $20/day for Valet. The Embassy Suites does not offer self parking or a complimentary, on demand shuttle to most places in a 3 mile radius of the hotel.
I highly recommend this hotel. The front desk staff is friendly and ready to help you upon check in, awesome views at night of the city you will want to stay up all night looking out of your window! Great walking distance to everything and shuttle service available upon request.
We are lucky to have ALL of our rooms facing the city. Obviously, some views better than others. We cherish the fact that you enjoyed yours! We look forward to seeing you again soon.
For this business trip I did not get to choose the hotel for my stay. However, I found me the staff and facilities to be above my expectations. I cannot address the question of value for the price as the room was taken care of as a group booking. However, breakfast was not included.

Compared to other locations the "suite" size is lacking. We felt like our room was just a room that was squeezed into the hotel layout and we had a King bed suite with whirlpool tub. Central location.
Thank you for sharing your sentiment. We are always acutely aware of the generic terms our industry uses ( "suite" is a good one, "continental" vs. "deluxe continental" breakfast for instance). It sounds as though you stayed in one of our Jr. Suites, which as you said is just a king sized sleeping room with a whirlpool tub in the room. We are lucky enough to also offer a few full sized suites which have a living room complete with a full size pullout sofa and a separate sleeping room with a closing door between. The sleeping room offers a king sized bed and a whirlpool tub. Please be sure to alert us for your return visit and we will be happy to offer you a complimentary upgrade so that you can experience all we have to offer.
Really well trained front desk staff, very helpful. Wait and valet staff was lacking. Room was very clean. Furniture not designed well for unpacking. Location was ok, not a lot of food choices that you could walk to.
