I have thoroughly enjoyed every exhibit we have seen at the Mint Museum Uptown. I like that there are opportunities for everyone. Just check the schedule and see what appeals to you. The building itself is beautiful, also. Check online for lectures, lessons, activities for kids and teens, exhibitions, etc. Recommend!

Great pieces of art work and they have a backpack adventure for kids to do! I liked the knowledge of the staff and that you could take pictures of certain pieces, they have a security guard that tells you what pieces you can photograph. Not recommended for kids under 8.

Great museum, and is located around a lot of other things in downtown (uptown) Charlotte. The exhibit are really nice and there is a wonderful restaurant.

Nice museum with something of interest to all family members from old coins, period dresses and antiquity.
