The lunch buffet here is priced at $ 9.99 and is quite good. They have variety of food including South Indian, punjabi, and even Gujarati food.
The food is quite good but the service is extremely slow and in buffet the items take a while to replenish. The restaurant itself is very small hardly 30 people can sit at the same time. It is over crowded during weekends. Even though this is a buffet they charge you 15% gratuity automatically and if you don't check your bill properly you will end up paying it. But I have a habit of checking line items and I fought that and complained and they took it off so beware of being charged 15% gratuity.

This restaurant was on a hotel list for nearby restaurants in the University Research area of Charlotte. Looking at the menu, we found an entire column of different vegetarian options - and not just one sauce over different veggies. We decided to split an appetizer of veggie pakoras and samosas - they were hot and crispy without being too greasy. Although they seemed a bit "light" on flavor, the accompanying sauces made up for that.

We had the Channa saag and Veggies Vindaloo as entrees. Each was accompanied by basmati rice. The saag (chickpeas in spicy spinach) was incredible! In fact, we ate all of that, and boxed the vindaloo to take home (it was a bit too vinegary that night, but reheated with a bit of yogurt added, it was fine!)

We also split the rice kheer for dessert - covered in nuts and lightly spiced, it was better than most of these that I've had in Indian restaurants. The manager also gave us (gratis!) a sample of the golub jamun, the rice balls soaked in syrup... these tasted very balanced, without that cloying over-sweet syrupy taste.

Gave it 4 out of 5 because the place is very plain inside (a few painted scenes on the walls) - nothing fancy... but it was clean... and the service was attentive, explaing and answering questions, and friendly.

Love the food! You can count on getting authentic Indian food for a reasonable price. They serve vegetarian and also meat eater alike so everyone gets to choose what they want to have.

This is a buffet restaurant with blend food that taste all the same. And it doesn't look good either. If the name didn't say it was Indian food, I wouldn't even know. I'm not going back, that's for sure.
