“Quality Indian Food”
Reviewed September 7, 2013

It is very difficult to find good Indian food in Charlotte, but this is one restaurant where some awesome Indian food is served at a very reasonable price.

The naan breads are excellent, the Tandoori kebabs and the north-Indian curries are excellent. The appetizers are good. However, the Biriyani is okayish, and the Indo-Chinese is not that good.

Service is generally quick, but expect a delay if it's crowded. The lunch buffet can be a bit crowded, so dinner is a more quieter time to enjoy the meal here. They also have a delivery service within the University area, which is very convenient.

Overall, I would say this is one of the best Indian restaurants in North Charlotte.

“Awesome Indian Food”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

Being a veggie, we had originally planned on having something like paneer tikka masala with kulcha, etc. for dinner, but the menu came as a surprise.
They have a special "South Indian dishes" section which has most of the things from idli to cheese uttapam.

We ordered medu wada, onion uttapam and mysore masala dosa. The servings were generous and we could not finish all 3 of the dishes. Sambar was not very tasty but definitely better than what you generally get in US. Chutney was awesome and the main dishes were also very tasty.
For drinks we had sweet lassi and chai. Lassi was thick with some dryfruits.. very tasty again.

Service was fast and the server was cheerful. The overall smell of the food in the restaurant itself was very appetizing. Also, the dishes that were being served to other guests seemed well presented and tasty.

Those who are used to just lunch buffets, may find the a la carte a bit pricey, but its worth it!

“Great food and wonderful lunch buffet”
Reviewed May 17, 2013

I really love the great indian food. It can be very busy on the weekend but it is well worth the wait because the food is the best in Charlotte.

“Good food. Great variety.”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

We enjoyed the lunch buffet on a Sunday. There were lots of good dishes (north indian as well as south indian). Their gulab jamun dessert was absolutely amazing. The buffet is well-priced for the variety.

Just one thing: It is a little cramped. There can be a lot of students so make sure your reach before them :)

I sincerely hope the management maintains the quality and variety in the future.

We drove to Charlotte from Greensboro. It was a perfect Sunday. Passage to India followed by shopping at IKEA which is mins away.

“Good place in Charlotte to have south Indian food for reasonable price”
Reviewed March 6, 2013

I went for a buffet on a weekend. When we entered, the place looked crowded. Then i got a feeling that the food will be good. My guess was not wrong. Good food at reasonable price. But the number of options were less. I liked the sweet(Gulab jamoon) very much. Chats were not that great. Non veg food was good. Second time i have visited the place and had egg fried frice. It was awesome. I liked it very much.. And the quantity they give is good enough to have 2 times.
