This is our second visit in the last year, and both times were great. The tapa style menu is inspired by a variety of cultures, and is all well prepared. The waitresses have been friendly and accommodating to our large groups each time.

This was the best meal we had in Charlotte. We loved the menu selection (things for both the picky and those who want to try new things). The red pepper and articoke dip was fantasic.

The only thing we didn't like was the Jameson cupcake. It the cupcake itself was dry and the icing was a little hard.

Surprising that from the hostess, to the waiters, to the manager we have never experienced a more unsettling and rude atmosphere. Just asking a question regarding a particular table brought a very rude and sarcastic over reaction from one waiter, our waitress seemed put out to even be there, and after requesting to speak to the manager we came to understand that the attitude seemed to be coming from the top down. Much of dining is a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, and unfortunately those on duty this particular visit seemed combative at best. We have never done this in 33 years of marriage, but we felt so uncomfortable we left the restaurant before ordering. Our feelings were confirmed when we met some folks walking by on the sidewalk who had the same experience and kindly recommended some other options. If you are looking for a nice meal in a relaxed atmosphere our experience suggests that you try Dresslers or Dolce, - relaxed and professional places with very nice offerings.

My 2nd visit to Charlotte this year and again, Dandelion didn't disappoint. Went with my partner and her mum and we had a selection of small plates. All were great but would recommend the Portobello fries, the steak topped with crab and asparagus (cooked rare how I like it), and once again, the fries are simply the best I've eaten anywhere (so crispy, delicious!)

The service was great all round, not sure how some people have criticised this place, maybe hey had staffing problems but every time I've been it's been fantastic. Try it and see for yourself!

I took a group of family to DM in Novemberwhilst visiting Charlotte. It worked well for us, because I just ordered a load of different dishes and people could try what they wanted. We had teenagers to seniors in our group and all enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

Service was great - friendly, quick and nothing too much trouble. They turned the lights up a bit for us at the start of the evening. The place got louder and darker as the night went on as its a bar at the end of the day, but as we arrived early, this still worked out OK for us. All the food was really tasty and it was nice to have so many different things.

It also worked out reasonably priced for such a large group.
