“Excellent ambience and good desserts”
Reviewed May 9, 2014

When I first entered this bakery, I was welcomed by a long line near the entrance that streams into the shop. The place is nicely decorated with an European feel. The desserts are generally good, particularly the macaron. It is a good place to chill.

“One of a kind with excellent pastries”
Reviewed April 19, 2014

This is our first time here and we swung by at the recommendation of a local. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a wide selection of pastries and sugary sweets. We had a few different items and loved them all. The best thing about this place is the decor and one of a kind environment. This is a great place to sit back, enjoy the afternoon and catch up with friends.

“Good but not great”
Reviewed April 12, 2014 via mobile

On a visit, we ventured out to Amelie's after reading about it. First, location surprised us a little but, once inside, the lines verified we were in the right place. The salted Carmel brownie was excellent. We also picked up fruit and cheese croissants for next morning and neither one of us found them to be better than at places like Au Bon Pain. In fairness, they might have been better had we eaten them at the Bakery or immediately when purchased but the brownie won in terms of which we would eat first. Overall, glad we went and would consider going back but would probably eat there or soon after purchase.

“Good Treats & Coffee, Neat Environment”
Reviewed April 9, 2014

Really cute neighborhood bakery - kitschy decor, kind of a hipster feel. Good place to study or hang out, I'd imagine. The desserts were delicious, too.
