New clean hotel. Nothing flashy but solid for a Marriott hotel. Stayed here twice. Would come back again

OK but overpriced. They had a leak in the dining room and thought it was coming from either my room or a room nearby. Maintenance guy barely knocked and only mummbled who he was before abruptly opening my door at 8:00am! When I called the front desk to report it they mentioned the leak and who it was and said they "assumed" I had checked out since most already had on my floor. I informed that they should CALL to verify before allowing staff to enter a room. They said they would mention it to management and offered no other restitution. Couch in room is a nice touch. Have to get dressed and go to lobby to get paper - no door delivery. Breakfast buffet very good. Business section in lobby with individual tv's at each booth is a great bonus. Overall, a good hotel but for the $180 per night price on a week night in a non-tourist town, I expected more...better privacy, nicer reservation staff, cleaner bathroom showing no mold in the shower, and better costumer service when a problem arises.

We recently spent one night at this hotel. Previous reviewers had mentioned the unfriendly staff. All I can say is, those staff members must be gone. Bridget checked us in and she was fantastic. She was so friendly and welcoming. She made us feel right at home.
The room was very nice and clean. Very modern. Beds were comfortable. My only complaint is the lack of privacy with the new bathroom style. I do like that they have separated the shower/vanity area from the water closet. Nice if two people are trying to get ready. However, they both have sliding doors and it is hard to shut out the noise coming from the baths for someone that might still be sleeping. Other than that, the hotel was fantastic. I would definitely go back. Nice TV, work area, sitting area, fridge, microwave. HVAC was a little loud when it was running, but what hotel room isn't? Nice wardrobe instead of closet. Complimentary breakfast was okay. Price is a little on the high side.

The hotel was great. Wife and family loved it. Nice area, good restaurants nearby. I would have rated this a 5, but due to the POOR customer service, I had to lower the score. when I checked in, i advised the lady at the front desk that I had a reservation. ID and Credit Card is all that she replied. No further comments until she handed my room key and said "Elevators down the hall to the right." My wife called the front desk to inquire about the sheets for the sofa sleeper, the response she got was "You havent checked the closet have you?". Hotel also advertised a nightly gathering around the bar for food and drinks. Went downstairs to check it out, but nothing happening. Was afraid to ask the girl at the front desk.

This place is new and nice. It's sterile meaning that there's not really service - no one goes out of their way, nor is there fruit or cookies out at night. But it's brand new and really modern.

Going with the modern is a problem that I never realized staying at a Springhill on business but now I'm with kids. The new Springills are designed with separate shower and toilet areas. These areas are carved off from the main room with clouded glass doors. The issues are two: 1) they don't close/seal so there is always a gap for someone to look through. 2) Light travels through them so you can't leave a light on (we have young kids and it's key).

While the pool is small but workable, the gym and breakfast both excellent.

If you want clean, modern, and restaurants (Ruby Tuesday, Red Robin, and a few local nearby)....this is the place. Just don't expect - a welcoming place. But it's very very nice - top notch in niceness.

I have to say that I agree with all the reviews. This is a very nice, new, contemporary hotel. Great location shops, restaurants, and mall all in a very immaculate new area. The rooms are set up nicely and the furnishings are all very contemporary, however, the beds are some of the hardest mattresses I have ever slept on. The other thing this hotel is sadly lacking is "Customer Service". I am an Elite Marriott rewards member and stay at Marriotts frequently. This hotel's front desk service leaves a lot to be desired. Upon check in 3 young women were all working the desk, one standing and eating, the other twp giggling and talking. They greeted us with a "Hi" and I told them I had a reservation. The one young lady asked for ID and credit card, took my credit card swiped it and immediately handed it back to me and said "You have another card this one is not working". I told her to try it again that there was no reason it should not "work". She did a couple more times, then looked to her co worker (who was still eating at the desk) and she came over to assist her. The card went through and then it was handed back to me with no apology or explanation. The room key was quickly handed to us and we were told the elevator was "around the corner". Where is the customer service? Class hotel are set apart by there customer service not by there room decor.
