“Very informative”
Reviewed April 21, 2013 via mobile

I really enjoyed the Levine Museum while in Charlotte. It uses videos and a rebuilt city to demonstrate life in Charlotte after the Civil War. Entrance was only $8 for an adult - providing several hours of interesting learnings

“Excellent History Lessons of this Area”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

Interactive displays, easy to understand and makes one appreciate all that has happened here in this area and what cotton meant to the people and the textile industry. They always have very colorful exhibits that school children can enjoy too.

“Great museum”
Reviewed April 16, 2013

This was only my second trip to Charlotte, and I really didn't know much about the history of this city and the Carolinas in general. The Levine Museum offered a great overview of the history of the piedmont Carolinas region, from the Civil War to the modern day. Very well-organized museum with insightful, interactive exhibits.

The traveling exhibits on the second floor (focusing on Charlotte residents in WWII, and the war in Iraq) were fascinating as well.

“Nice way to see history of the south”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

A very nice museum that kept my 5 year old daughters entertained with the hands on history where they could dress up and touch the cotton . A great learning experience for the young and the old. This is highly recommended. A very nice setup.

“One of the Best Museums I've been to”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

I love the Levine so much I've been there like 4 times. Whenever I have a guest I take them to the Levine. The museum is interactive and VERY informative. I'm originally from NYC, born and raised, so the Levine taught me so much about Southern living and helped me to get adjusted down here. Highly recommended!!!
