“Lots of fun”
Reviewed June 9, 2014 via mobile

Lots of things to see and do. Very interactive. Great for all ages. Take advantage of the free 3d movies they offer. They are only about 30 minutes long and have plenty of seating. It is different from the Imax which is an extra cost. When parking in the garage park on the third floor where the entrance is. If you are local you need to become a member. It is totally worth it. We can't wait to go back.

“Great museum, tons of hands on fun”
Reviewed June 8, 2014

My girl scout troop of 10 year old's took a day trip to the museum. They loved it. The first floor has a small aquarium, rainforest, a touch tank, hands on with microscopes etc. The second floor is where we spent the most time, as that's where all the hands on activities are -- Kapla blocks, building a fort, building/architecture, lots of physics experiences (bed of nails, air flow, levers, pulley's, gears, air carrying items, plus making creations out of foil, making shoes out of duct tape and supplies, air chair, etc. ) We spent about 5 hours at the museum.
The gift shop was great, with a wide variety of prices, so the kids could find things $5 and under (of course there is plenty that costs more). Very nice staff too - at the gift shop, at the museum gate, etc. Excellent museum!

“Fun attraction”
Reviewed June 4, 2014

The Discovery Place is a great deal of fun, mostly for kids, but they have traveling exhibits that come through that are always great, too, and all the activities at Discovery Place are fun for adults who are young at heart! ;)

The 1st floor is mainly for looking at things, with a couple interactive exhibits. The 2nd floor is VERY interactive, and the 3rd floor is usually booked for groups, I think...

Anticipate a couple hours to see everything.
