Interesting special exhibit on Mummies, coupled with an IMAX movie. Lunch in the cafeteria was good, too.

Daughters, 9 and 11, had a great day at discovery place. Paid extra for the traveling mummy exhibit. Exhibit was good but made for and expensive morning (spent about $150 for 4 tickets, IMAX and snacks. Saw the "born to be wild" IMAX movie and it was awesome. Favorite part of the visit!

This is right up there with the best childrens museums we have ever visited. There are lots of great hands on experimental stuff from wind turbines to beds of nails and tug of war etc. You really have to visit this, it is excellent. We caught the first day of the Mummy Exhibition which is very interesting.

There seems to always be something of interest at Discovery Place. Touring exhibits are a favorite of mine and I have everlasting images still fresh from the Pompeii dramatic exhibit. Absolutely spell-binding. Now the up-coming exhibit is of the Mummies. There's lots for kids all ages too, but watch out. Some are running wild.
