I have not played here in quite a while but was extremely impressed on my recent visit. The course was in perfect condition, with perfect fairways, greens, tees, aprons and some perfectly difficult rough....The day I played, if you missed the fairway, you added a stroke. The most striking feature of the course was the greens. Think putting on a pool table. They were very undulating, very smooth, and amazingly fast. As another reviewer mentioned they were severe...but you have to just go along for the ride. I shot about 15 shots above my handicap, but enjoyed every shot.

The course was tough especially on a windy day. The layout is nicely done and beautiful. If you play the uphill side you and go for a under the flag lie you can cut 8 or more strokes off your score. The cost was $80 and $125 with club rental (Nike) which included a glove and a sleeve of balls. For all the rain we have had this year I thought it should be greener and more plush. Many of the staff members were very accommodating and thanked us for choosing them. The hotel and restaurants are very upscale and clean. Food was available after the 10th hole. The ranger brought us iced towels after the turn - 1st class.

The course was outstanding and picturesque and from tee to green challenging but enjoyable. The greens are a nightmare not having anything but multiple levels with severe undulation. After a few holes the frustration with the speed and slope began to put a damper on the experience. A bit extreme if you ask me but certainly a course that you should play-once.

My wife and I were in town for a wedding and decided to golf at this course. We arrived early to have breakfast, rent clubs, hit some golf balls, and putt a little. The breakfast was UNBELIEVABLE! Prior to ordering our extremely friendly and attentive server brought us coffee and small complimentary yogurt with homemade granola to tide us over. We then were served huge portions of pancakes, eggs benedicts, bacon and poatoes that were delicious. Unfortunately, I was too full to take a complete golf swing until the 4th hole! Great course, great people, great experience.
