I just wanted to mix it up a bit and see what the Hyatt chain had to offer. So, I joined the rewards club. The hotel was ok. Room was really huge and had everything I needed. The carpet and bedspread were a little dated, but nothing too bad. The front desk greeting was so-so. The free breakfast felt like one of the better ones for this type of hotel.

A good "product." This Hyatt property is clean, modern and has good amenities for the price. I found the included breakfast better than most, with hot options, as well as breads, yoghurt, and cereals.

Convenient to the airport, but not much else. The on site "Cafe" menu is a reasonable substitute for a real restaurant. I was there on a Sunday evening, and there was nothing open in the viscinity.

The shuttle drivers are great! Our room location not so good. The ice machine was very noisy all night long. On making a reservation wish it was made known that the pool was not operational since we use that for daily exercise. Could have stayed at the other Hyatt close by. Breakfast was great. Room not vacuumed.

I should start by saying that the beds were really good. The room was big and there was a lot of space to spread out, and yet somehow the sleeping area was a bit cramped. The bathroom facilities were very nice, except that the sinks were open to the room so there was little possibility of some getting to sleep in while one gets an early start with the day. Over-large TV made it nearly impossible for one to get early shut-eye while another watched a later show -- too much light in the small sleeping area. One bed was so close to the window that there was no walking room between the bed and the heat/AC unit. To be honest, the design just tried to fit the sleeping and bathing into too close and too exposed an area. If everyone had been on identical schedules, then there would have been less problem.

The catering was limited, even though the promotion gives the appearance of a full service. In retrospect, I was glad that we had stopped in a dive en route on the Interstate, because what was offered here was too little, too late.

No problem with noise from the airport, however.

Morning coffee was okay, but the suggestion/promise of a quality or specialty coffee remained unfulfilled.

Stumbled upon this hotel while looking for a less expensive option in the ever pricey Charlotte area. I certainly do not regret it, the staff was friendly and welcoming, the location is in a great spot, very convenient. The room was very nicely appointed suite style with a huge TV, nice big l-shaped couch, desk, etc. Little details that make a difference, little tube of toothpaste is part of the daily toiletries (others like the Homewood Suites) won't even give you a free little toothpaste and charge you $3 or $4 for $0.99 worth). Nice little food bar, Starbucks coffee shop and bar. The free breakfast is at least two steps above a HIE or Hampton.
