Description: Bigger Better Biscuits for Breakfast and Lunch! In brief, Sunrise was established in 1978 in Louisburg, NC (actually 1977 but that is a longer story) and has been responsible for providing Bigger Better Biscuits for Breakfast and Lunch ever since. Our biscuit recipe is based on my Grandmother's recipe. Her biscuits helped give her the stamina to give birth to 17 children and live to almost 100. Our Award-Winning Chapel Hill location is a Drive-Thru Only Restaurant for your convenience. The Louisburg location features a Drive-Thru option as well as seating. Our regular customers particularly value our great food and fast, friendly service. In addition to biscuits, we also serve hamburgers and hot dogs. Our sandwiches include barbecue, chicken salad and tuna salad (chicken and tuna salad in Chapel Hill only and made on-site). A real southern treat is our sweet tea. Come by soon! Our Chapel Hill restaurant is located at: 1305 East Franklin Street Chapel Hill, NC 27514 (919) 933-1324 Our Louisburg restaurant is located at: 208 S. Bickett Blvd. Louisburg, NC 27549 (919) 496-2609

“Tasty, but overrated”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 6, 2012

This is a really yummy drive-through breakfast place, but I was a bit disappointed. I expected something earth-shattering based on reviews, but it was just a really good biscuit. Meat, egg, etc. was completely normal - definitely better than a chain, but nothing crazy amazing.

“OK This is a MUST DO”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 5, 2012

Where else can you find Southern Biscuits with or without gravy?! This is a drive-thru, and often has a long line on Saturday or Sunday mornings! Popular for a good reason -- it is good food!

“Best chicken biscuit on the planet”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2012

Fast and delicious, that's Sunrise Biscuit Kitchen for you. All the biscuits were great with the chicken and country ham & egg at the top of the list. The staff is unfailingly friendly and quick.

“Fast and delicious”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 8, 2012

Drive through only, but with fast polite service and the best biscuits on the planet. Ham biscuit uses real country style ham, not water-added reconstituded crud you usually find. A great "must-do" local favorite if you are in the area.

“Possibly the best eating experience in all of the Triangle”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2012

Sunrise Biscuit Kitchen does what it does better than any restaurant -- really any business -- that I can think of. The best chicken biscuits in the world, in an instant.
