We shuttled to the museum. My husband was determined to visit. It is a beautiful facility. Well documented, great memorabilia and full of Carolina Tarheel pride. An excellent addition to a proud tradition at UNC.

My wife is a total Tarheel fan and loves to watch her Heels play in the Dean Dome. We have visited the museum several times before games. Make sure to get there early since they close at least an hour before game time. This museum is a must visit for any ACC basketball fan.

For any Carolina Basketball fan this is a pilgrimage you MUST take at least once. It’s an understatement when I say that this place is loaded with UNC basketball collectibles. When you first come in, you enter a small room with a wraparound (type) of video screen which plays a video and places you in the middle of the Dean Dome game day experience. After this is over (and you are obviously pumped up) you walk into the main room. At first it is an overload for the senses; however, once you adapt, it is breathtaking. The floor you walk on is actually the floor from the 2005 National Championship game and even points out different spots where special shots were taken. I have to say that the two best parts are the letter from Coach K to MJ and the trophy room. I won’t give too much away but will just say …. you won’t regret it. The great thing is that it’s right next to the Dean Dome, which means easy access before a game. Oh …. And it’s free!
