Great local produce and fantastic barbecue!

We stop in several times during our stays and the day before heading home to pick up one of the best pies ever, baked on the premises. Their blueberry pie is as good as, if not better than, what we got up in Maine.

Get there early!

Great place to shop or get a bite to eat. Beautiful Golden Retriever greets you as you enter the market. Antique signs hanging everywhere, just wish they were for sale also.

You can't go to Cashiers without going to the Farmer's Market. But bring your AMEX because it is pricey! But, there you'll find the best home made carmel cakes in the land! They bring in fresh fish a few times a week and when blackberries are in season, grab them (but you'll pay more than anywhere else....) They have great little gift items, too.

Best pulled pork with amazing vinegar BBQ sauce. The sweet sauce is very good also. Great sides to choose from for a great price! Will definitely go to again!

The barbecue reminds me of eastern North Carolina with its vinegary base and is tenderr and juicy with very little fat. The stew is chock full of meat with plenty of vegetables and is delicious.
