A different presentation! For the two of us: 4 tasters that are shared; 2 entrees (trout and pork tenderloin); 2 desserts. 48$ fixed price. 18% gratuity added. We had a wonderful Cote de Rhone wi e that had a little spritz. All in all a do not miss restaurant.

“Fabulous, don't miss it.”

This is one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. I love the open air feel and that everything is so fresh.

“Don't care what anyones says Canyon Kitchen is #1 in Cashiers”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

We recently vacationed in Cashiers over a long weekend. Five couple went over for dinner at the foothills haute, Canyon Kitchen. This was our most memorable meal of the 4 day trip and one of the most picturesque locations possible. The view alone is worth the trip.

The menu changes daily depending on what in season. Chef Fleer is the originator of the foothill style cuisine which he founded while exec. chef at Blackberry Farm. This is a true farm to table restaurant with most of the vegetables come out of the gardens just behind the restaurant. It's great to have all this great produce at your back door. The main ingredients are seasonal and from to producers and farmers. I am a sucker to fresh local tomatoes. So when the tomato, watermelon, and feta cheese salad was mentioned I jumped on it. I was not disappointed. You typically have a choice of 2 or 3 entrees. I loved Chef Fleer's Trigger fish dish. The fish was perfectly cooked and the side were exceptional.

I can not imagine a trip to the Cashiers area without a visit to Canyon Kitchen. Go in the mood to eat and be happy. It's not a super fancy place but you will feel at home with a jacket (no ties) if you like. Go, you will not be disappointed. I'd travel anywhere to have Chef Fleer cook for me.

“A-PLUS SERVICE”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

Our dinner at Canyon Kitchen on July 4 was absolutely fantastic. The service was far beyond what we could have anticipated. When we made the reservation, we made a note that one of our party is lactose intolerant and another is diabetic. When we were seated, our wonderful waiter Clark told us that the chef had taken note of our situation and had individually adjusted each dish to suit the requirements of each diner. It was raining and foggy that night and we could not enjoy the beautiful setting; however, the cozy but elegant feeling of the interior was perfect. Of course, we can say the same about the excellent cuisine--cozy and elegant and perfect. A great occasion!
