“Looks to bea local favorite”
Reviewed October 27, 2013

Was a busy, wet rainy day last week when we stopped by for lunch. Had quite a wait as it seemed very crowded. Finally got seated and was told the soup of the day was cream of broccoli. Being very cool that day, it seemed like a good choice. On arrival of soup and sandwich (which took a while) very thin, watery, slightly milky soup with large leaves floating on top! Kale-spinach, who knows but not broccoli for sure. Sandwich tasty. Nothing special. Waitress asked how we like the soup-told her not really, Did not eat but a few spoonfuls. She just smiled an walked away. Would I go back to Cornucopia next time in Cashiers? Maybe, but would probably try some of the other restaurants first. Other diners had various items & seemed to be enjoying. Maybe what we ordered, but think staff should know what they were serving.

What a great time at Cornucopia. The food was wonderful and the new bar is a perfect addition. This restaurant never fails to satisfy. Enclosing the porch was a great idea. Hope to enjoy 35 more years.

“An Institution!”
Reviewed October 25, 2013

Cornucopia continues to be our favorite restaurant in the Cashiers/Highlands area. Not only has the food been consistently good for years, but it has evolved over time to be a truly impressive culinary experience. The recent renovation to the outdoor dining room and bar were very well done. Never a trip to the mountains without a meal at Cornucopia.

“Great food”
Reviewed October 24, 2013 via mobile

We have been more than a couple of times to this restaurant in different years and the food and service are consistant. Eventhough the rstaurant is not pretty, the food is great. The last time I had the crab cakes and they were to die for.
