The quality of the food at Neo-China is always excellent. Nice selection of both Chinese and Japanese meals. Great service.

We dined here with a fairly large group of friends, who ordered a wide variety of dishes. The atmosphere, food, and service were all excellent. I was impressed with the different varieties of Asian foods offered - Chinese, Thai, Japanese, including excellent vegetarian dishes. BTW, it is now named Neo-Asia restaurant.

The dim sum here can be very good (you'll want to double-check, but it's only a weekend affair). Unfortunately, it can also be very inconsistent. That is, sometimes food has been sitting on the carts a little too long and is no longer hot, or even warm. The service here is generally fast, but if you have a problem, with say, the temperature of the food, the wait staff will argue with you. On one visit, I was told a dish had shrimp in it, but it didn't; it was fish. Not only did the dish not taste like shrimp, but it was flaky like fish. But when I complained, I had to argue with her for a few minutes before she took it off my bill.

The dim sum menu doesn't have anything unique, and everything is pretty average. Not only is there much better in bigger cities, but there is much better in Durham, at Hong Kong, on Guess Road. Even at it's best, Neo-China's dim sum isn't as good as Hong Kong, but when you consider the inconsistencies, why take any chances? That is, unless you don't have time to drive up to north Durham but really just have a dim sum craving.

We have been going to the Neo China Restaurant off of maynard Street in Cary, NC for a few years now. The food and service are great! We highly recommend it.
