“Love the 2 mile walk around the lake”
Reviewed March 7, 2014 via mobile

This two mile walk is excellent. I bit if up and down so it is kind of like a wee hike at times. A bit wet after a rain and tree roots make it challenging. Love it.

“Enjoy a day in the park”
Reviewed February 26, 2014

We live next to the park and are there at least 3 times a week. Bring bikes and fishing poles and a picnic -- make a day of it! The trails are gorgeous for walking year round, and the views are beautiful. In summer and fall, rent pedal boats, fishing boats or sailboats for a short time (an hour) or a whole day. The prices are reasonable and the grounds are immaculate. The playground is large enough for many kids to enjoy at one time and there are varying structures for toddlers to 10 year olds. There is a beautiful screened in porch for eating year round without the nuisance of bugs.

Bring breadcrumbs or cheerios with you to feed the ducks and geese. If you are wary of them being aggressive, head to the awning by the boat launch where you can feed them from the dock without interference.

“Lots of outdoor enjoyment options close by”
Reviewed January 10, 2014

Located on High House Road near Cary Parkway in Cary NC, Bond Park offers a variety of outdoor enjoyment options for individuals and families. Baseball diamonds, lake for rental boats and fishing, picnic shelter areas with grills, swings, walking trails, and more. Entry is free. Great place to get away from it all!

“Pleasant Bond Park”
Reviewed January 1, 2014

First, this is not the summer home of the NC Symphony as denny h and your photo state. Bond Park is more of a local usage park than a destination for out-of-towners. It has a beautiful lake for fishing and small water crafts (no motors). It rents boats and gives sailing lessons in the summer. There are marked easy walking trails passing through pretty scenery. There are also ball fields, picnic shelters, and two town facilities: Cary Senior Center and Bond Park Recreation Center. In the spring, Bond Park is home to Spring Fest, a great town art festival.
