We moved to this area in August from the northeast and have been enjoying meals at Chef's Palette since then. We usually eat on the Tavern side, as they have great local entertainment on the weekends. The food is fantastic! My husband and I particularly like the crab cake app( very little filler to hold it together!), pecan salmon, chicken wings and filet. They grow all their own veggies in the garden out back and make their own sauces and salad dressings. The service is always good and the staff are friendly and warm. So glad that we discovered this gem and that we live close enough to go there often.

Our food was amazing. I got the pecan crusted salmon and husband got pork chop. We loved both. We only have it 4 stars because the atmosphere and service were lacking. Service was a bit slow and not real attentive. You expect a bit more for the money. We spent $101, with tip, one drink, two entrees and one appetizer that we split.

We're regulars at Chef's Palette - why? Because the menu is amazing, the food is delicious, the bartenders are wonderful, and the staff is terrific. It's kind of like going to Cheers - everyone knows your name! We are fortunate to have a great place to go to. The menu changes seasonally, so you never know what wonderful surprises you will find. A group of us go to the Wednesday trivia in the winter, which is always fun. We end up getting drinks and appetizers - speaking of which the appetizer menu is fabulous! Such a variety. Very happy to have this as one of our regular options, and there is zero turnover on the staff, which speaks volumes. Highly recommend Chef's Palette if you are looking for a great place to hang out with good food and lots of regular faces - people just keep coming back!

I am not one to write reviews but had to share this. My fiance Chip and I had dinner here tonight and was absolutely the worst dinner we have ever had. ordered the special for the night which was mahi with lump crab meat served over risotto and grilled shrimp. The Mahi and shrimp was over cooked and dry, no lump crab meat to be found and the risotto was bland, no flavor what so ever. how could you charge 35. for this dish?? we shared this dish and left half the food on our plate. we did order an appetizer of calamari which was really good but so disappointed in the meal.

First time trying this restaurant based on other positive reviews and we were not disappointed. The ambiance is relaxing, the food presentation is creative and delicious, and the service is attentive. A very enjoyable dining experience. Upon hearing this was our first visit, the owner came to our table and made us feel welcomed and genuinely interested in our opinions.

Thank Scott M
