Description: Fabulous place to lunch!! What started out as an amazing French bakery has now become a cafe too. The place is packed all the time - great food.

I am mostly going there for their bread.
Unfortunately, there not that many places in Cary when you can buy real bread that has tasty crust on it. It's one of the few.
And their cafe is good too :)

No question - the breads are delicious. Had lunch there twice this week. The seating is crowded and not comfortable. It would be great if they could take over the adjacent store front and expand. That being said - will I go back and sit in the uncomfortable chairs elbow to elbow to a stranger - absolutely!

While the bakery and breakfast items are delicious the seating area is limited and first come first serve. So, when it's busy, which it often is you may find yourself standing around waiting for a seat. Once you do sit down you will have others hovering over you like hungry vultures while you eat. Host service would bring the rantings for this place to all 5.

We ate here twice during the six days we were in Cary. We ate oatmeal at home the other days.

Since we were new we tried the le pain and two coffees. The total price was less than $10. We were 2 very, very happy people. The coffee was written up in the Wall Street Journal the same week.

Our pain was a nice selection of warm toasts, butter on the side and raspberry confit plus a delicious scone to split.

Lunch menu looks devine, but we ran out of time....this place feels SO AUTHENTIC!!! It cannot be easy to pull that off in a strip shopping center in a suburb.

Try this and you are hooked!!!!

Quite simply the best bread in the triangle is to be found at La Farm. My family is particularly fond of the white chocolate baguettes, and other breads and pastries. We also eat here for lunches, and have taken a variety of classes at La Farm. It is pricey, but oh, so worth it.
